Traditional Games of Filipino

Traditional Games of Filipino are games commonly played by children, usually using native materials. In the Philippines, due to limited resources of toys of Filipino children, they usually come up on inventing games without the need of anything but the players themselves. With the flexibility and creativity of a real human to think and act will make the game more interesting and challenging.

The kids used to gather in the streets or in their neighborhood playground to play their favorite Larong Pinoy games like piko, patintero, tumbang preso, siatong, luksong tinik, habulan, takip silim, etc. These has been their regular and popular pastimes, as well as the favorite games of their parents and grandparents in their childhood. Piko, patintero, tumbang preso, siatong, luksong tinik, habulan, and takip silim is the top traditional games of Filipino that are easy to play.

Like in the tumbang preso empty can, stone, and slipper is used in this game. This game can be played into 6 -- 8 person. The player is required to use their slippers as a tool to hit the empty can inside the circle. One player is choose and given task to secure the empty can.
